Zoe Miller and David Goodman are the designers behind Miller Goodman and they are at the forefront of design for children, that combine function with the highest design principals, producing fantastic products within the children's market. These blocks are another form of empowerment... The blocks give a platform for children to be creative, to do what they choose with the blocks, be it abstract, a pattern or a picture of a monkey, they are given the power to create with these simple coloured blocks. When the blocks are then placed in however a child wants them, does this then render itself as a piece of design or art? It is after all a piece of self expression and has be placed in a deliberate way. I think this point is interesting in the way that it is all about the context that something is given.
