This is a picture I found the other day that I felt was appropriate to the 'This Is Art' work. The statement 'art is anything you can get away with' is an interesting one, because I feel this is right in so many senses due to the fact that if someone wants something to be 'art' and they are given the power to make this decision... then so be it, and its even better if people feel the need to discuss that further as it will be a catalyst to a larger debate. I find it interesting that Andy Warhol signed it to, almost propelling this statement into a piece of art itself. Again as anything in art it is all subjective and in the eye of the beholder, but that again is what is great about it and why I am doing this work, to get people involved in a non confrontational way.
