Browns are a fantastic design company based in Bermondsey, who have an amazing archive of work. One of the many great projects Browns have done is a set of posters to promote the second Howard Smith Paper Graphic Design and Print Awards and the Howard Smith Paper lecture series, these posters were simply... a whole poster of fluorescent colour, with a square of it taken out leaving a white section on the poster, with a small bit of type placed within the poster. These posters really show how simplicity is a really great way of catching the eye of someone. The use of the fluorescent colour however has got me thinking about using fluorescent colours within my book, to make different sections really stand out, and add a dash of colour to it. Somehting for me to think about when searching for paper stock tomorrow.
