FACELESS

PhotobucketHere is another test for the 'What if' series, this is questioning 'what if improvisation was faceless?' basically what im trying to achieve here is asking weather or not the person playing or acting or painting the improvised piece of art is actually important, in the sense that anyone could be playing this spontaneous second of... improvisation, im basically challenging the fact that yes somebody is improvising, and more often than not this particular person is a bit of a genius, however if its improvisation surly it could be anyone? Not too sure if this works though, i like how it looks visually and think it would be interesting to use somewhere within my dissertation, maybe when i talk about certain people using their bodies and not their faces?

The faceless bodies belong to...

Larry David, star of the improvised comedy series Curb Your Enthusiasm
John Coltrane, The late Jazz musician, renowned for his improvisational skills within music
Henri Matisse, The late painter, who created the Jazz series which was built on Matisse's perception on Jazz's "chromatic and rhythmic improvisation"
