Scott Schuman is the man behind the blog the sartorialist, I have been looking at this site pretty much every day for a good few years now, and feel that i take a lot of inspiration from the photos that Schuman takes. I really like the way he has kept true to his blog format, keeping the name the same and the look the same... rather than making it into a big flashy website. I feel the photos that are taken are not all about fashion either, i think that its the characters behind the clothes that are interesting too, as Schuman says in his book The Sartorialist he keeps this romanticism about his subjects alive by not knowing what they do, which i think is quite a nice quality. Its a really great blog and think it documents the lives of the people who are within it very well. This sort of vibe is what i want to get out of this work, not explicitly outlining a modern man but letting people decide for themselves.Click here to see a marvellous video with Schuman himself.
