The idea of appearance and its inter-relation with behaviour is an interesting one, especially the fact that appearance is something visual that everybody can see, however behaviour is something only a select amount of people can experience, this is where the perceptions of people come into play, due to the fact that what... people think about someone else may be true or maybe absolutely false, which is an interesting notion. So which is more important to this idea of a gentleman, the appearance or the behaviour? This is a discussion for another time perhaps...Anyhow I have been thinking of ways that best represent these three aspects while tying it all into one package, the thought I have had is a book with 3 sections, the first is the appearance of the person, the second section is the behaviour, which is within the appearance section, almost like the mind of someone inside the outer casing of their cloths or appearance, then the last section is the perception that someone has on the notion of the modern gentleman.
